One to one off horse Biomechanics Assessment (Also available via Zoom)

How well you move off your horse has a direct impact on your performance in the saddle. During this clinic I will assess and advise on:
• Functional movement (how well do you squat? Where does your weight go?)
• Symmetry and Range of Movement (hips and shoulders)
• Balance (if we can’t balance on a flat surface we will struggle on our horse!)
• Strength (is there a weak link?)
• Visual skills (our eyes have a direct impact on our biomechanics)
• Breathing (if we aren’t breathing optimally our body cannot perform at it’s best)

Personal Training

As a fully certified Level 3 Personal Trainer and Advanced Equestrian Biomechanics Specialist, I provide the following comprehensive range of services for horse riders:

  • Biomechanics & Fitness Assessments: Conducting initial assessments to evaluate a client’s functional movement, symmetry & range of movement, balance, strength, visual skills, breathing, current fitness level, health status, and any limitations or injuries.
  • Personalized Training Programs: Tailored exercise programs designed to meet the specific needs, goals, and fitness levels of individual clients.
  • Exercise Instruction: Teaching proper exercise techniques and form to ensure safety and effectiveness during workouts.
  • Nutritional Guidance: Offering advice and guidance on nutrition to support clients in achieving their fitness goals.
  • Motivation and Support: Providing encouragement, motivation, and support to help clients stay committed to their fitness journey and overcome challenges.
  • Progress Tracking: Monitoring clients’ progress over time, adjusting workout plans as needed to ensure continued improvement and goal achievement.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Being able to adapt training programs to accommodate clients with different fitness levels, abilities, and goals.
  • Education and Empowerment: Educating clients about the principles of exercise, fitness, and health, empowering them to make informed decisions about their lifestyle choices.
  • Communication and Accountability: Maintaining regular communication with clients to track their progress, address any concerns or questions they may have, and hold them accountable to their fitness goals.
  • Injury Prevention: Providing guidance on injury prevention strategies and modifications to workouts to prevent injuries during training.

I am passionate about providing a holistic approach to equestrian fitness coaching and to help riders achieve their desired health and fitness outcomes.

FACE TO FACE GROUP EQUIPILATES PROGRAMMES

This face to face 12 week programme will take you through all aspects of rider fitness including cardio, strength, balance, core and quicker reactions to help you feel more secure in the saddle and more able to communicate clearly to your horse without fatigue or confusion

ON HORSE DIAGNOSTICS, CORRECTIVES AND TRAINING

This mounted session includes video analysis of the rider wearing the Visualise jacket to highlight movement patterns and
asymmetries. Using a mixture of bands and various props to improve awareness and activation, the rider will learn how to create a more balanced position in the saddle. Via the principles of Equitation Science, the rider shall also learn how to communicate more effectively with their horse.
